Friday was one of the coolest days ever. We got to see the kid for a full 45 minutes while they conducted the fetal ultrasound. They spent the first 15 min looking at me, then the rest of the time looking over the baby. We saw a pumping heart, bladder, kidneys, fingers, toes, brain. Everything. PLUS, we found out that it's a boy.
Baby is healthy--growing just as he should be. Doctor said that I'm just fine too--and not to worry about weight gain or belly growth. That the baby is healthy and that's all that matters.
Here are some of the sonogram pictures. The first are of his feet. The second a profile shot. To me, it looks like he's kissing my tummy. You can see his heart in the middle of his chest.
Now, we're just concentrating on our trip to Bali. We leave Friday night. I bought my support hose today. Lovely. Being pregnant sure makes you feel sexy sometimes. :)
