Grady at 8 Months

Well, life is getting more and more exciting as Grady becomes more and more mobile. Whereas he's not technically crawling, he's perfected the 'army crawl' where he can get around on his elbows and knees. I'd guess he'll start getting up on his hands sometime soon. We've started to baby proof--outlet covers, gates and cabinet fasteners. We're learning that this house is anything but baby friendly.

He's still cutting teeth. Seems he's been working on this forth one for a while (his right upper front).

This past month we visited a pumpkin farm, which was more fun for us than him, I'm sure. But, we got some cute pictures. Almost as cute as the ones on Halloween day. A friend had a party and all the kiddos dressed up. He was a lion and was right at home amongst other giraffes and cats. But, you can see from one of the pictures when it was time to leave and get him to bed.

We're also discovering that Grady is very affectionate to other babies. At least that's what we're calling it. He lunges toward them, mouth open, and grabs on. Almost like kisses. Or, like he's going to eat them. Whichever...

Other highlights:
- his face is looking less-babies and has more character these days. Is looking more and more like Daddy, if you can believe it.
- still a good eater (when not teething)
- rolling over to tummy and back and back to tummy
- still not sleeping through the night. Arg. Soon?

Enjoy the pics.
