We had our follow up ultrasound today. If you remember, the DR was concerned that baby was in the 13th percentile. I was put on a diet of red meat and not allowed to exercise much. Well, I guess DR knows best. Today, baby was in the 28th percentile and weighs a healthy 3lbs 3oz. I'm to stick to my diet and exercise routine from here on out. So, all is good.
For some unknown reason, after our normal ultrasound, the technician pulled out another devise and started looking around with it. It was a 3D ultrasound machine. All she wanted to do was take pictures of the little guy. Usually these cost lots of $ to do, not sure why we got it for free. But, enjoy the pic. He looks a bit less alien-like and more baby-like. You can make out a hand/arm on one side of his face. Jury's still out on whether the other extremity is a hand or a foot. You tell me...
Everything else is great. I have my next appt in another 2 weeks. I'm starting to see other DRs now to get to know them, in case Tracy isn't on call when I deliver.
I've now gained a total of 21 lbs. I'll leave you with that thought.
